Fathers Day

Fathers Day was crazy around here. We didn't have much time to celebrate, but one of the best moments came that wasn't even planned. Michael painted Lectas toes for her. She loves her toes painted and saw the polish when daddy was by her. So, Michael painted them for her. How fun!

The Fence and Playset

Michael and have been very busy outside this summer. We decided that we would build a fence with our tax return this year, and because of a million crazy circumstances we were able to get a play set too. So we spent nearly a month doing the fence and play set. The fence isn't done quite yet. We just need to stain it, but it will be done soon!

A year later... Or a little more.

I know, I know... Its been a long time, but seriously I had dial-up, and do you know how long it takes to download anything on dial-up? Well, too long. So I didn't do anything on the computer unless I had to. So here it is. Some current (well, kind of) pics of my family and kids. Daddy and Owen Making a Bug Barn
Miss Sticker Face!
Electa loves, loves, loves babies. She would carry them
around anywhere if she could. She even has a little friend in
nursury at church that will bring her baby to her when she gets
there.

Mud Everywhere!

Today we planted our tomatos and put them in walls of water, ( everyone asks us about those here.) While we were doing that, I put Electa on a blanket on the grass. Owen used to hate the feeling of grass on his feet or legs, so I figured she would like it... She quickly got onto the grass, then ever so slowly headed into the dirt. Pretty soon she was a brownish red, and then into the mud. She loved it. She was so proud of herself for figuring out that she could make more mud by pushing on the walls of water. Such a funny girl. Plus, I caught her putting more and more dirt in her mouth. She's definatly messier than Owen. Owen got a little wet this afternoon and wanted to head strait into the house to change. Electa would have been happy to play in the mud for awhile, and I was happy to watch her. She cracks me up.

Some recent happenings...

Electa is sure getting big. She's going to turn 1 in less than a week! She's sure fun. She's crawling around and standing up on everything, and loves to get into everything. But she still loves snuggling with mommy!

We bought a new faucet. Do you like it? Our old one started leaking underneath the sink( no, not a pipe, or a connector) and we could never figure out where it came from, nor could anyone else, so we ended up buying a new one. One we liked, and should last a whole lot longer. So far, I'm loving it.

I babysat my friends kids for a week. They were pretty good, but I'm rethinking having more kids. I'm not sure that I have the sanity for that!

Michael turned 31 on March 15th. I think he had a great birthday! We sure love you daddy!
