Swimming Pool! Just my size!

We got a little wadeing pool for Owen. I really like the size so I don't have to hold him all the time. I also like all the little toys it has for him. It's really perfect for him. He really loves it too. He likes splashing around, and getting all wet, and he loves when mommy gets in and gets all wet too.

We're finally moved in.

I can't believe that we're finally moved in and getting settled. Michael and I thank Heavenly Father every night for allowing this to happen. We can't believe that we are the "homeowners." It feels so great, but compleatly unreal. Well, here are some pics. Don't you think it's cute? One is from the outside, the view from the front door, our living room, kitchen, bedroom, and my master bathtub (My favorite part). We still have a lot of small projects that we need to do, but we don't want to go into debt to complete them, so they'll come with time. Yay! Thanks to all those who helped us move, to those who made this possible, we owe you. Thanks so much.

Pile of Boxes!

I feel that I'm lost in a pile of boxes. I need to keep packing though, it feels like there is so much more to pack, but I don't quite have the energy to do it. I got to keep going though, or we'll never be done. I thought I would share some of my most recent pics of Owen (requested by Dad). I won't be posting for awhile after this. After we move, I'm not sure how long it will be before we can have internet. I think it might take a week or two. I love you all, and I'm missing you. I wish that you all were here to help! Good Luck Jeff and Sarah with the new house. I'd love to see some pics.

To my faforite Mothers-

Happy Mothers Day!
I just wanted to say thanks to my favorite mothers. Starting with the picture to the right. You rock. Thanks for being such great moms.
To Ra's mom- Thanks for being my rock. Thanks for being my example, my guide, my teacher, and my friend. I wouldn't be half as good if it weren't for you. Thanks . I love you very much.
To Mikes mom- Thanks for teaching my husband. Thanks for leading by example, sharing your testimony and teaching him right and wrong. Thanks for supporting him, and especially for being a Great mother-in-law!
To my Grandma Hill- You've been such a great example. I am so very proud to say that you are my grandmother. You're an amazing woman who has taught with love and lead by example.
I hope you all have had a wonderful mothers day! Thanks to all those mothers who've had such a good influence on my life. I appreciate and love you all!

Sick Again!

It's like a once a month thing with Owen. So far we haven't been to the hospital this month. However, Owen seems to be sick again. As he was throwing up on me this morning I was wondering when I signed up for this part of being a mother. Good thing he's pretty cute and loves me, or I don't think I would handle it too well. I had plans today, but I guess that they will be put off for another day. As far as the packing is going, Mike is only oging to be home a whole 5 days before we move. That includes Sunday's, so it looks like it's up to me to take care of everything. I just keep telling myself that it will all be worth it. Anyway, wish me luck.

Specialist

Today Owen went to a pediatric lung specialist. It wasn't that trilling, but it sure cost a pretty penny. Their office is located pretty close to D.C. so we had to get up early to get there, and as always , traffic was not good. However, we made it there just in time for his appointment. The Dr. confirmed it as asthma. We got more medicine and we have to go and see him in another month to make sure we still have it under control. The dr. didn't seem to be too worried about it, so I guess thats good news.
All is well with the house. We are still set to close on May 27th. Hopefully everything will be taken care of by then. It seems like there is a neverending list of things to do and papers to fill out and sign. I wish we didn't have to fill out so many dang papers that say the same thing over and over and over again. However, if the end product means that we bought a house, I guess that it will be worth it.

Home Inspection

On Tuesday we shelled out three hundred dollars to get a informative home inspection. Luckily everything turned out ok. The house is in great condition, and there is nothing that we have to fix. There were a few suggestions of thing that we should do to keep the house in perfect condition, but nothing we didn't already know. We're getting pretty excited to move in and get things going, but we don't close until the 27th of May. Then its hurry and move so we can be out of our current house and have the carpets cleaned by May 31st at noon. What a pain. Oh well, you do what you have to do.
