We got the House!
We got the house, we got the house! We are pretty excited. We found out this morning and I've been smiling ever since. I guess that we just barely beat out the other offers. We will be closing on May 23rd, and moving that weekend. I hope all goes well. It will be pretty cool. I can't believe that we're going to have our first house.
To the ER again!
We had a crazy Friday last week. We all got a cold last week, but Owen was having trouble breathing again. I didn't want to take him to the hospital again because it costs a lot of money, so I just made a doctors appointment. When the doctor saw him he said "You're going to the ER right now." I didn't even have a chance to digest what was going on until we were in the hospital. He was given 2 breathing treatments, a shot of steroids, a diagnosis of asthma and sent home with a prescription for some more nebulizer treatments. It was a pretty scary couple of hours. Owen doesn't seem to be getting any better with his cold, but we do treatments every 4 hours and his breathing is getting better. We go to the Dr. on tuesday to see what kind of treatments we will have to continue to do. Pray for us. We hope all goes well

House Hunting
We've been house hunting for awhile now, and it seems like quite a daunting task. It has been crazy here. We put an offer on a house, it was rejected. We kept looking and put another offer on a house yesterday. However, we found out that there are 4 other offers on the house. Dang it. We offered them full price, so I hope we get it. I guess we'll see. Anyway, pray for us. And heres the listing. What do you think? Just click where the pic is, and it will take you right there.

Osaka!
We went to this great restaurant called Osaka last night. It is one of those Japanese restaurants that they cook the food in front of you on a grill. You know the ones that you always see in commercials and TV shows. It was so much fun. they did the cool knife tricks like you see on the "Halls" commercial. They lit a huge fire, which really scared Owen, and made Corny jokes. It was so much fun. I wish I had pictures. I can't believe this place is in our little town. If any of you come and visit me, we'll take you there.

Everyone's doing it.
Well, it sure seems like everyone is blogging, and I thought it would be a great thing for my family to do. Plus, I've sure learned a lot about other people. So, here I am starting my own blog.
Things are going pretty good right now. It is beginning to look like spring here in Virginia and we have been spening a lot of time outdoors.
Owen just gave us a scare this last weekend. He was sick with a cold and he began wheezing. I didn't think it was that big of a deal until late at night when he wouldn't sleep. He was breathing really hard and fast. I made the desicion to take him to the hospital. As soon as we got there they rushed us right back and gave him a breathing treatment. He got the full run down of tests and a chest x-ray. Luckily they didn't find anything, and his breathing got a little better, so they sent us home. We had to follow up with his pediatrician the next day for another breathing treatment and he seems to be doing much better. Hopefully that's the end of that. We keep praying for him.
To anyone whose willing, I would love to link you on to my blog. And to my sisters and brother, I would challenge you to start your own.
